Heavy Equipment Mechanic

STS Technical Services is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our Bradley Modification Team in Temple, Texas. This role requires expertise in maintaining, troubleshooting, and modifying military equipment, specifically the Bradley Fighting Vehicle and similar platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance on power plants, engine fuel systems, air induction systems, exhaust systems, cooling systems, engine starting and charging systems, and track electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with military equipment.
• Install modifications and retrofits on platforms including M7A3, M2A3, M2A4, and M7A4 Bradley Fighting Vehicles.
• Independently resolve technical issues and perform tasks with minimal supervision.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Prior military experience in MOS 63T, 91M, 45T, 63H, 91H, 63D, or 91E is preferred.
• 3-4 years of experience in military equipment maintenance.
• 1-2 years of experience with Modification Work Order (MWO) modifications.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in both electrical and mechanical systems.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Military MOS training certificate or equivalent military training.
