Engineering Programmer

STS Technical Services is seeking an Engineering Programmer to develop customized tools in SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, Excel, and Access for internal customers across Product Development, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations Leadership. This role is responsible for maintaining and optimizing existing tools while proactively developing new solutions to meet evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop customized tools in SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, Excel, and Access to support internal teams.
• Maintain and enhance existing tools, ensuring they meet business requirements and user needs.
• Anticipate tool usage and understand their broader applications to improve efficiency.
• Assist in creating presentations and reports for executive leadership.

Basic Qualifications

• Strong experience designing and programming applications in Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and Access, with additional experience in SharePoint site development and MS Teams.
• High attention to detail, as these tools influence critical company decisions at the highest levels.
• Proactive approach to optimizing tools and anticipating customer needs.
• General understanding of the design and manufacturing process for large-scale durable goods.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Educational Requirements

• Associate degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred but not required.
