Engineering Liaison

STS Technical Services is actively seeking an Engineering Liaison in Ridgeland, South Carolina. This role ensures seamless collaboration between assembly, purchasing, and engineering departments, solving design issues and optimizing production processes for safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary contact for engineering-related inquiries from production or purchasing.
• Resolve design and material issues and log them for future reference.
• Develop solutions for customer orders and engineering change requests.
• Support manufacturing engineering with tooling development and actively engage in continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• Experience: 2+ years of work-related experience, ideally in vehicle design or manufacturing support.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and 3D CAD proficiency (Solidworks preferred). Familiarity with Lean principles is a plus.
