A&P Mechanics

STS Technical Services is hiring A&P Mechanics in Columbus, Ohio, to support aircraft maintenance operations at Rickenbacker International Airport (LCK). Job Overview

As an A&P Mechanic, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all maintenance is performed in full compliance with repair station policies, FAA regulations, and the highest standards of aircraft safety and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform post-flight inspections and line maintenance
• Overhaul and inspect airframe components
• Diagnose, document, and repair mechanical discrepancies
• Ensure proper recordkeeping and signature compliance for all work completed
• Maintain high safety and quality standards at all times

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification
• Valid, unrestricted U.S. driver’s license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with Part 135 aircraft maintenance
• Experience working on Baron, Falcon, and Learjet aircraft strongly preferred

Work Environment & Personal Attributes

• Proficiency with MS Office and general computer skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be reliable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling needs
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with a positive attitude
• Must pass FAA/DOT drug screening and background checks
• Able to climb ladders, operate lift equipment, and work in confined spaces

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, and use hands and fingers
• Light to moderate lifting expected
• Ability to work on platforms, stands, and within tight workspaces

Location & Schedule

• On-site position at Rickenbacker International Airport (LCK) in Columbus, Ohio
• No remote work or relocation assistance provided
• Day shift, 4 days per week (10-hour shifts)
