STS Line Maintenance
STS Line Maintenance is hiring Aircraft Maintenance Controllers in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to support day-to-day line operations and keep our customers flying safely and efficiently. In this high-impact role, you’ll coordinate maintenance activity, communicate aircraft status updates, and manage real-time discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams across the operation. This position offers competitive pay between $44 and $48 per hour DOE.
Position Summary
As the Maintenance Liaison, you will help drive airline reliability through timely communication, effective troubleshooting coordination, and proactive maintenance oversight. This role is key to ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of customer aircraft at the Philadelphia station.
Essential Functions
- Monitor shift activity to determine maintenance needs, unscheduled discrepancies, and workforce availability
- Communicate aircraft status and updates across internal departments via phone, radio, and electronic channels
- Coordinate correction of operational aircraft discrepancies to reduce maintenance downtime
- Manage parts and manpower requirements for repairs; track field repairs and part returns
- Ensure compliance with maintenance documentation standards on customer aircraft
- Coordinate with Stores on AOG part tracking and inventory
- Monitor MELs and inbound aircraft for parts requirements; coordinate with AOG Desk
- Collaborate with Dispatch and Maintenance Planning for MEL and CDL procedures
- Support Customer Maintenance Operations Manager and STS Base Manager as assigned
Competencies & Knowledge
- Proficient in navigating aircraft and company manuals
- Familiar with MS Office Suite, maintenance tracking software, and flight monitoring platforms
- Strong communication and multitasking skills in high-pressure environments
- Understanding of FAA Safety Management Systems (SMS)
- Knowledge of Philadelphia (PHL) operations a plus
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid FAA A&P Certificate
- Minimum 3 years of Airbus or Part 121 line maintenance experience
- In good standing regarding performance and attendance
- Prior leadership experience preferred

Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Based in a climate-controlled office environment
- Must be able to sit, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 lbs
