Location: San Antonio, TX (SAT)
Job Type: Full-Time & Part-Time Available
Pay Rate: $34 – $36 per hour (Based on experience & certifications)

Summary:
STS Line Maintenance is hiring experienced A&P Mechanics to support line maintenance operations at San Antonio International Airport (SAT). As one of the largest line maintenance support providers in the U.S., we take pride in delivering high-quality, reliable aircraft maintenance across a nationwide rapid-response network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections, troubleshooting, adjustments, and repairs on commercial and large regional aircraft including Airbus A320, Boeing 737, A300, A330, CRJ, and Embraer 170.
- Ensure all aircraft maintenance meets FAA airworthiness standards and regulatory compliance.
- Diagnose and repair airframe, engine, hydraulic, and electrical systems using precision instruments and technical documentation.
- Work closely with flight crews, aircraft maintenance controllers, and field airline teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Accurately document maintenance work performed in compliance with FAA regulations and company policies.
- Maintain high-quality standards and a commitment to safety and integrity.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions as required.
- Other duties as assigned by the Line Maintenance Station Manager and Station Leads.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification with no infractions.
- Previous A&P experience on turbine-powered aircraft is a plus.
- Experience working on Boeing 737, Airbus A300, A320, A330, or A220 is preferred but not required.
- Gen Fams on Boeing 737, Airbus A300, A320, A330, or A220 will qualify for higher pay rates.
- Must have a complete set of standard line maintenance tools (specialty tools provided).
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted, work on ladders/stairs, and stand for long periods.
- Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and schematics.
- Experience in FAA Part 145 repair stations or Part 135 operations is highly desirable.
- Inspection Authorization (IA) license is a plus.
- Must be able to pass a background check, drug & alcohol test, and obtain Customs & Border Patrol clearance.
- Strong computer skills and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong customer service skills, communication, and work ethic.
