The Role of an A&P Mechanic at STS Line Maintenance
Our A&P Mechanics are essential to the daily operations of our maintenance stations. You’ll be working directly with Station Managers, Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technicians, field airlines, flight crews, and other Aircraft Maintenance Controllers to ensure that all aircraft are maintained to the highest airworthiness standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, adjusting, and repairing various aircraft components.
- Maintaining high standards of quality and integrity.
- Using precision instruments and equipment to measure and repair parts.
- Working in both indoor and outdoor environments, sometimes in inclement weather.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
We’re looking for motivated professionals with:
- A current valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P).
- Experience with turbine-powered aircraft (preferred).
- Ability to pass background checks, drug & alcohol tests, and Customs & Border Patrol clearance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to excellence.
