NC Programmer

STS Technical Services is hiring NC Programmers in Fort Worth, Texas.

Position Overview

Join a team where innovation meets precision. As an NC Programmer, you will provide programming for numerically controlled production and tooling programs, leveraging engineering data and advanced planning tools. You’ll play a pivotal role in manufacturing development projects, ensuring all design characteristics meet high aerospace standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement numerical control programs for production and tooling projects.
• Create additional lines and surfaces graphically or mathematically to support parts, tools, tooling fixtures, and mockups.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to address and resolve design challenges.
• Maintain documentation to ensure effective process control and compliance.
• Provide guidance to Fabrication and Assembly departments, supporting tooling and manufacturing processes.
• Utilize mathematical formulas to compute flange setbacks, spring backs, and bend allowances.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Two (2) years of college or equivalent experience, including coursework in Trigonometry, Analytical Geometry, and Processing Technology.
• Proficiency in CADAM, CATIA, and APT programming.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in Catia V-5 modeling and surfacing.
• Hands-on NC Programming and Flat Pattern development experience.
