Workshop Manager

STS Aviation Services is expanding rapidly and is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to join our team in Dubai. This role offers the unique opportunity to lead a dedicated team of technicians and supervisors as part of our Cabin Refresh program, focusing on delivering the highest standards of maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services. Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Manage technicians and supervisors performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs on aircraft components within the Cabin Refresh program.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure all work meets the highest standards of quality and adheres to GCAA Part 145 compliance requirements.
• Tooling & Facility Management: Oversee the availability and readiness of tooling and facility resources to support smooth and efficient operations.
• Customer Collaboration: Lead initial aircraft walkthroughs and inspections with customers to align on project requirements and timelines.
• Project Management: Ensure timely project completion by effectively managing manpower and allocating resources to meet deadlines.
• Team Development: Provide leadership and training to support the continuous development and performance of your team.
• Process Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities to enhance business processes while ensuring adherence to safety and security procedures.

Skills & Experience

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 10+ years in aircraft maintenance, with a strong focus on GCAA Part 145 operations.
• Leadership: Proven experience in leading teams within an aviation maintenance environment; strong problem-solving skills.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with aviation regulations, including EASA and GCAA standards.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Communication & Organization: Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate with team members and customers.
