Inventory Control Specialist

STS Technical Services is hiring an Inventory Control Specialist in Ridgeland, South Carolina. In this role, you will assist with managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels through regular audits, resolving discrepancies, and implementing inventory control best practices. Working closely with warehouse, procurement, and various departments, you’ll ensure that stock levels are optimized to meet operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track and maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
• Manage stock levels and assist in monitoring reorder points.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing inventory for accuracy.
• Assist with inventory control procedures and generate reports.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• 3-5 years of experience in inventory control or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Ability to lift and move inventory items up to 50 lbs.

Education:

• High school diploma required; associate degree in business or logistics preferred.

Working Conditions:

This position may require working outside of a climate-controlled environment for extended periods. PPE is required on production floors.
