Aircraft Power Plant Engineering (Remote)

STS Engineering Solutions is hiring skilled Aircraft Power Plant Engineers to join our team. This role is vital for ensuring compliance with regulatory and company requirements while providing on-site and remote engineering support. Ideal candidates should possess extensive experience in aviation powerplant engineering, with a focus on Airbus powerplants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support for aircraft line maintenance, heavy maintenance, and modifications.
• Develop detailed work instructions for powerplant repairs.
• Offer Aircraft-On-Ground (AOG) support for powerplant installations.
• Collaborate with OEMs and DERs to ensure approved repairs.

Qualifications:

• BS in Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• Previous experience in powerplant engineering for commercial aviation.
• Proficiency in OEM and TCH technical manuals.
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Ability to travel as required and work remotely when needed.
• U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with V2500 and PW1000G engines, Honeywell 131-9 APUs.
• FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant licenses.
