Assembler

STS Technical Services is a top-tier staffing firm dedicated to connecting skilled professionals with leading companies in various industries. We are currently seeking a qualified Assembler to join our client’s team in High Ridge, Missouri.

Position Summary

The Assembler will be responsible for producing quality work to prescribed standards, with a focus on continuous improvement. This role involves following written work instructions, maintaining a safe work environment, and performing entry-level assembly functions within the production department.

Job Responsibilities

• Produce quality work to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budget.
• Follow written work instructions and adhere to all safety procedures.
• Properly use required PPE and handle materials, chemicals, tools, and equipment safely.
• Participate in LEAN Events, “Six S” activities, and action teams.
• Support and reinforce the organization’s mission, values, and culture.
• Perform entry-level assembly functions, including prep, mechanical, harness, cable, printed circuit board sub-assemblies, spray application, and inspection.
• Perform simple assemblies and hardware installation.
• Conduct pull-tests and verify tooling, use torque tools, and interpret & assemble multiple units.
• Basic troubleshooting and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Access production tools (routers, parts list, work instructions) and perform wire prep, auto bond, and sleeving.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
