Welders

Location: Greencastle, PA

Available Shifts:

• 2nd Shift: Mon-Thur | 4pm to 2am (Potential weekend OT)
• Weekend Shift: Fri, Sat & Sun | 5am to 5pm (40 hours paid + potential weekday OT)

Position Summary:

Join STS Technical Services as a Welder and operate welding equipment to build high-quality parts, subassemblies, and finished products. Weldments vary in type, size, and direction while being performed on various production lines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pass the Welder Qualification test and recertify as required.
• Operate an overhead crane to maneuver parts for welding.
• Adjust welder configurations for quality weldments.
• Heat and form metal parts using hand tools, torch, or welding equipment.
• Weld components in flat and vertical positions.
• Accurately read and operate measuring devices.
• Position, assemble, and weld parts as outlined on blueprints.
• Maintain attention to detail to meet quality standards.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Pass internal welder certification test and recertify as needed.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Welding Certification through an educational institution.
• 1+ year(s) of welding experience in a manufacturing industry.
